Altro elemento su cui ci siamo concentrati con grande attenzione è stato il sistema dell’involucro di copertura, nel quale l’impegno e la capacità tecnica e professionale di Zintek hanno permesso di raggiungere un risultato di eccellenza. Conoscevamo il materiale per averlo già applicato con successo in altri cantieri, sempre con la modalità applicativa della lastra continua a doppia aggraffatura. Lamessa a punto della stratigrafia di copertura e la scelta dei diversi materiali si sono dovute analizzare con cura, in quanto la presenza di termitai sul sito sconsigliava l’impiego di materiali a base legnosa. I termitai stessi alla fine sono serviti come laboratori di prova per testare i diversi prodotti da utilizzare: se fossero rimasti integri dopo un giorno a contatto diretto con le termiti, sarebbero stati approvati.
