57 The EMERGENCY “method” Il “metodo” EMERGENCY The design of our hospitals is the result of a particular process that sees the participation of the entire Field Support Department, alongside external architectural, structural and plant design firms, coordinated by the Building and Technical Division. The EMERGENCY Field Support Department (FOD) is the office in charge of management and support for project activities. This department consists of various divisions, each providing guidelines and offering constant assistance to the medical, logistics, biomedical, IT, human resources and technical areas. The Building and Technical Division is responsible for designing and building the structures and systems that make hospitals work, and for their maintenance. La progettazione di un nostro ospedale viene realizzata attraverso un particolare processo che vede la partecipazione di tutto il Field Support Department, assieme a studi di progettazione architettonica, strutturale e impiantistica esterni all’organizzazione, coordinati dalla Building e Technical Division. Il Field Support Department (FOD) di EMERGENCY è l’ufficio che gestisce e supporta l’attività dei progetti. È formato dalle varie divisioni che forniscono le linee guida e danno costante assistenza alle parti medica, logistica, biomedicale, informatica, di risorse umane e tecnica. La Building e Technical Division si occupa di progettare e costruire le strutture e gli impianti che fanno funzionare gli ospedali, e della loro manutenzione.
