31 The complex consists of a reception and health education area, with 72 ward beds and 3 operating theatres, equipped with all the diagnostic and auxiliary services necessary for its operation, such as the laboratory, blood bank, pharmacy, canteen and laundry room. In view of the arrival of patients from various countries, the structure also features a guest house with 42 beds for patients and their families. As in the case of EMERGENCY’s other hospitals, the project also includes an outdoor play area and a garden with 350 trees: greenery is indeed an important element for the recovery and healing of patients. Il complesso si compone di un’area accoglienza e di educazione sanitaria, con 72 letti di corsia e 3 sale operatorie, corredate da tutti i servizi diagnostici e ausiliari necessari al suo funzionamento, come il laboratorio, la banca del sangue, la farmacia, la mensa e la lavanderia. In vista dell’arrivo di pazienti provenienti da vari Paesi, è presente anche una guest house con 42 letti per i pazienti e i loro famigliari. Come negli altri ospedali di EMERGENCY, verranno realizzati anche un’area gioco esterna e un giardino con 350 alberi: il verde infatti è un elemento importante per il recupero e per la guarigione dei pazienti.
