RENZO PIANO RPBW – Renzo Piano Building Workshop Born in Genoa in 1937 into a family of builders, Renzo Piano graduated from Milan Polytechnic in 1964, and during his studies worked in Franco Albini’s firm. In 1970 he founded the Piano&Rogers firm in London, in collaboration with Richard Rogers, and from 1977 to 1981 he worked with engineer Peter Rice, creating the Piano&Rice workshop. In 1981 he founded the Renzo Piano Building Workshop with offices in Paris, Genoa and New York.
