199 EMERGENCY Non-Profit Organization, an independent and neutral association set up in 1994, has as its primary objective to guarantee free treatment to victims of wars, landmines and poverty, while promoting a culture of peace, solidarity and respect for human rights. EMERGENCY designs, builds and manages permanent hospitals that provide free and effective treatment. In situations of particular emergency, it organizes specific missions in support of existing hospitals, contributing to their renovation and equipment, and training local staff to become self-sufficient. EMERGENCY Ong Onlus, associazione indipendente e neutrale nata nel 1994, si pone come obbiettivo primario il garantire cure gratuite alle vittime di guerre, mine antiuomo e povertà, promuovendo nel contempo una cultura di pace, solidarietà e rispetto dei diritti umani. EMERGENCY progetta, realizza e gestisce ospedali permanenti che offrono cure gratuite ed efficaci. In situazioni di particolare emergenza, organizza specifiche missioni a supportodi ospedali giàesistenti, contribuendo inoltre alla loro ristrutturazione e al loro equipaggiamento, e formando il personale locale affinché possa diventare autonomo.
