This was the basic concept behind the Giovanni Cenna Architettura studio’s design of the Ville Aimaro complex in Sirmione.
The architectonic quality of the construction is not limited to the inhabitation space but extends to the full complex: the outdoor environments were designed to be experienced as part of the residence and to integrate the surrounding nature. This interpretation guided the choice of materials used for the finishings: wood and stone for the horizontal and vertical surfaces, crystal for the parapets, rolled titanium zinc products for the elegant details of the roofing solutions, a high-quality material that perfectly integrates the stone material.
Rolled zintek® products are indeed available in three variants: natural, pre-weathered and colored. The colored version of the products is available thanks to The Color Line series, a chromatic palette including six tones: Mediterranean Blue, Lagoon Green, Antique Red, Natural Earth Brown, Rock Grey and Graphite Black. This chromatic variety allows the color to marry matter and become an actual architectonic element.
The principles of energy-related and environmental sustainability are perfectly integrated within the project: thanks to the presence of the rolled titanium zinc products, the permeable surfaces and green roofs re-utilize rainwaters for plant irrigation while simultaneously ensuring heat mitigation during the summertime.
