“Industriæ”, the new Permanent Information Center dedicated to Porto Marghera, was inaugurated on Friday October 13th 2017, in the presence of the Mayor of Venice Luigi Brugnaro.
Set up within the Vega Antares pavilion, the center is one of the main initiatives to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Porto Marghera. With its collection of objects, sounds and images, it aims to testify all that this industrial hub has represented over the years, and to create the bases for a dynamic, sustainable and innovative future for the area. Zintek – a unique example of a productive reality that experienced and shaped each stage of the history of Porto Marghera – is among the companies featured with its own specific corner.
In addition to Mayor Brugnaro, the inauguration was attended by the President of the Port Authorities, Pino Musolino, and by pivotal figures from the institutions, law enforcement services and economic world of the lagoon area.
